PTAP is hosting Teaming Agreements workshop in Montgomery County

Teaming Agreements: Sub-Contracting & Joint Ventures
 August 30 / 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Shulman Rogers Law Firm
12505 Potomac Ave., 6th floor
Potomac, MD. 20854

Teaming Agreements: Sub-Contracting & Joint Ventures with other companies is an important strategy to use to make your company more competitive for
government contracting.  Teaming Agreement’s can help you.

 •  Lock-in administrative, financial or technical capabilities that your company does not currently possess

•  Gain new or expanded market-relationships into agencies/contracting programs and officers

•  Lock-in pre-vetted partnerships that give you more “fire power” as your company goes hunting for contracts

Mr. Jerry Alfonso Miles, attorney with Shulman & Rogers will lead the
discussion. Mr. Miles is a member of the U.S. and International Procurement Bar.  Mr. Miles has assisted companies in complying with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (‘FAR”), the DFARS. He has experience helping companies to identify and mitigate bid and proposal risks, responding to government auditors, and resolving disputes with the government, and between prime contractors and subcontractors.  This workshop is designed for companies with limited or no experience in developing teaming agreements.  Come learn strategies for the development of teaming agreements and
sub-contracting documents.

Thousands have said NO to unjust deportations. Will You?

Since Thursday, more than 20,000 Presente.org members have called on President Obama to end the dangerous Secure Communities (S-COMM) program, after his Administration’s decision to aggressively expand the use of local police officers as immigration agents. Tomorrow, at events with community organizations all over the country, we’ll deliver these signatures to leaders at Obama’s main campaign offices in Chicago, Miami, Charlotte, Atlanta, Boston and Houston.
